expansion program. It's not quite finished, but it's very nice and
will really improve the experience of travelling by air in Ottawa.
No more long walk to the old terminal, especially valuable for Maple
Leaf Lounge users who often make that long trek twice, once to get to
the lounge and once to back to the gate.
No more Toast kiosk. Shortly after the expansion opens, a brand new
Irish pub will open. Plus a new news stand. There are also plenty of
opportunities to expand retail and restaurant services.
And sadly, no more stairs to nowheres.
The opening event tonight was very good. Lots of great food, drink,
and lots of great guests. And very high quality entertainment too.
